Who we are and what we do

Wild in Nature is an expert advice service founded by Fran. We are supporting and inspiring landowners, communities and individuals to regenerate and rewild their land.

Our mission is to help you to re-imagine your approach to land management, by applying natural principles to nature restoration, and by re-discovering lost wild wisdom about the natural world. We want to help you and your land to re-find your wild.

Our organisation is born of a desire to see the natural world flourish, particularly in the light of the current climate emergency. We believe that nature knows what is best for it, and that enabling nature to be self-willed can produce spectacular results for wildlife.

About Fran

Fran is a wilding consultant with over 25 years of experience in wildlife conservation and the nurture of nature. She can help you to make sense of the bewildering range of opinions and guidance out there. She will guide and empower you to make decisions about (wilding) your land which make a real and lasting difference. More about Fran and what she has to offer.

How we work

For key advice, nothing beats a site visit so that we can truly gauge the character and nature of your land. However, this may not be possible, so we can also provide email / telephone and virtual rewilding advice. Our expertise and experience is such that we can create detailed nature restoration plans without ever setting foot on your land. Find out more...
